NERVE – NetResults Voip platform for Enterprises

NERVE Platform allows Service Providers and Large/Medium Enterprises to deploy a large-scale VoIP infrastructure whose main features are:

  • High Availability/Resiliency: Redundant systems and fault-aware switch mechanisms allow to reach a service availability close to the level of the traditional telephony infrastructure
  • Scalability: Replication of  performance-critical elements and load balancing algorithms allow to increase gradually the number of users/active calls supported by the platform.
  • Modularity: A modular design allows platform customization with the inclusion of required features only.
  • Guaranteed Performance: All modules passed thorough benchmarking test in NetResults laboratories.
  • Ease of Management: A web GUI, whose development has been driven by Service Provider’s indications and feedback, allows an easy, effective and cost-saving management of all service provided by NRVoice.

Functional Elements

The platform has been designed according to a modular structure and is composed by the following functional elements:

  • a VoIP Manager that handles users registration and call routing
  • a NAT Traversal Module which performs RTP flows relaying and implements SIP ALG actions
  • a VoiceBox/Call Transfer Module that handles user- defined voicebox and call forwarding policy
  • a Billing Module that manages billing plans and produces billing information for each customer
  • a Prepaid Module that performs credit-control for prepaid users.
  • a Provisioning Module for IP  Phones and Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA) configuration and management
  • a Lawful Interception Probe which allows to forward to the Law Enforcement Agency under-investigation user’s calls.
